Bundesliga table: Bayern Munich top, Dortmund and Gladbach impress
Borussia Dortmund continue their impressive start to the Bundesliga season with a 3-0 win over MSV Duisburg in the DFB Pokal.
Erling Haaland, Giovanni Reyna and Thorgan Hazard were all on target for Dortmund, who have now won four of their five competitive matches this season.
Bayern Munich remain top of the Bundesliga table after a 4-1 win over Hertha Berlin. Robert Lewandowski scored twice for the champions, with Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala also on target.
Borussia Monchengladbach moved up to third place with a 3-1 win over VfL Wolfsburg. Alassane Plea, Jonas Hofmann and Marcus Thuram scored the goals for Gladbach, who have now won three of their four league matches this season.
Schalke 04 slipped to their second defeat of the season with a 2-1 loss to Arminia Bielefeld. Fabian Klos and Masaya Okugawa scored for Bielefeld, with Benito Raman replying for Schalke.
Bayer Leverkusen are now winless in their last three Bundesliga matches after a 1-1 draw with Mainz 05. Moussa Diaby gave Leverkusen the lead, but Jean-Philippe Mateta equalized for Mainz.
