Democrat Robert S. Pashinski and Republican Christopher Disler are running for the 121st state House seat representing Berlin and New Britain.
Pashinski, 27, currently serves on the New Britain city council, representing the Fourth Ward. He is a Democrat and a lifelong New Britain resident. He graduated from New Britain High School and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Central Connecticut State University. He works as a legislative aide for state Sen. Matt Lesser, D-Middletown.
Disler, 35, currently serves on the Berlin Board of Education. He is a Republican and has lived in Berlin for 10 years. He graduated from Berlin High School and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Connecticut. He works as a senior account manager for a software company.
