Recap

The episode begins with Tariq turning himself in to the police for Zeke's murder. Monet is furious and disowns Tariq, while Davis sees this as an opportunity to gain leverage over the Tejadas. Lorenzo, determined to protect his family, confronts Davis and a tense standoff ensues.

Meanwhile, Carrie reveals to Mecca that she has been working with Tariq all along and plans to use him to take down Davis. Tariq, realizing that he needs help, forms an alliance with Brayden, who agrees to help him clear his name.

As the episode reaches its climax, Tariq and Monet have a heart-to-heart, where Tariq expresses his regret and pleads for her forgiveness. Monet remains torn, but she ultimately decides to help Tariq, knowing that he is still her son.
