Rooney's Rise to Stardom

Wayne Rooney is a former English professional footballer and current manager of EFL Championship club Derby County. Widely considered one of the greatest players of his generation, he is Manchester United's all-time top goalscorer and the England national team's second-highest goalscorer. Rooney began his career with Everton, making his debut in 2002 at the age of 16. He moved to Manchester United in 2004 and spent 13 seasons with the club, winning five Premier League titles, one FA Cup, four League Cups, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Europa League, and one FIFA Club World Cup. Rooney left Manchester United in 2017 and joined Everton for a second spell. He later played for D.C. United in the United States and Derby County, where he began his managerial career in 2021.

Rooney's International Career
