Rostock's main train station was evacuated on Thursday after a bomb threat was received. All trains were cancelled and passengers were forced to leave the station.

The threat was received by email at around 10am. Police were quickly on the scene and evacuated the station. A search of the station was carried out, but no bomb was found.

The station was reopened at around 12pm. However, trains are still experiencing delays.

Police are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.

Statement from Deutsche Bahn

Deutsche Bahn, the operator of the station, has released a statement saying that it is working to get trains back on schedule as soon as possible.

The statement said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working to get trains back on schedule as soon as possible."
